## What IVAN is

IVAN is the neutral intelligence proxy layer for B2B agentic commerce. AI procurement agents are increasingly deciding which distributor earns an order, and they optimize on whatever data they can see. A distributor's most valuable commercial intelligence (Special Pricing Agreements, rebate tiers, credit terms, branch inventory, territory assignments) lives locked inside its ERP, invisible to those agents. IVAN processes that intelligence inside a closed-loop network and outputs only a scored recommendation, so the distributor becomes visible to AI procurement agents on its own terms without exposing raw data. This is different from an MCP endpoint, which exposes ERP data to any agent that requests it.
